I've got Nicole Blackwell who's an experienced emergency management leader working at NBN Co. She's helping strengthen preparedness, response and resilience across complex systems and critical infrastructure.

She's got deep expertise in emergency management, stakeholder collaboration, woohoo, and cross-sector coordination.

Nicole sits at the intersection of technology, connectivity, and community resilience, working to ensure critical services and partnerships are ready when disruptions strike.

Now, where did we meet? You know what? I had to dive, Nicole, into my LinkedIn to remind myself where we met.

And it was actually back in 2019 during my corporate to community days when our paths crossed while trying to coordinate some cross-sector initiatives.

Now, that idea in particular didn't quite get off the ground.

It was a bit too progressive for the time, dare I say, that I was trying to get happening.

But one thing that stood out was Nicole's enthusiasm for collaboration and genuine interest in connecting sectors to do preparedness and resilience differently.
