Ray Martin, The Differentiators’ Other Half

However, there is a story that caught my attention.

I watched this on WRAL the other day.

It's kind of crazy.

[laughs]

[laughs] It is crazy, but all I know is you don't mess with Representative Brian Conn, 'cause he will whoop that ass.

Let's just start at the beginning of the story.

There is this dispute around the Hot Sauce Festival.

[laughs] I mean, this is so, like, small town.

Very much.

And the mayor and Representative Brian Conn about this Hot Sauce Festival, and I guess the mayor went and filed a police report.

So Representative Conn owns a pour your own beer bar in the town of Oxford.

By the way, we rode through Oxford last week.

It's great small town.

There were food trucks on the property of this beer place, and Brian Conn is saying that this is private property.

The mayor's saying, "It doesn't matter if it's private property or not.

They're doing business in Oxford.

They owe us money." And then that's where the back and forth went, which culminated in maybe someone putting hands on someone.

Yes.

Maybe someone saying, "I'm gonna whoop your butt."

Yes.

Representative Conn said that the mayor put hands on him, and the mayor said that Representative Conn attacked him, like, multiple times.

Representative Conn's saying this only happened one time.

But in the interview on WRAL, they have him on Zoom, which- I want to also say his background was like a galaxy or something and Representative Conn's like, "Yeah, I told him I would slap the out of him." [laughs] I was like, "Oh."

[laughs]

It kind of was likable.
