And now my new family tradition is playing The Last Waltz by the band every New Year's Eve in honor of my son's birthday.

And I know that all of my dad's Catskill friends can appreciate that tradition.

At the same time, fellas, if Woodstock was so great, then why didn't Led Zeppelin, The Doors, or your precious Joni Mitchell play there? At the same time, Joni Mitchell wailing on about Jackson Browns, Roguish eyes.

It doesn't qualify as three days of peace and music, does it? I'm grateful for inheriting my father's sense of style.
