In episode 364, I put together an episode of classic jazz albums that had weird titles.
I played some Kenny Wheeler, Chick Corea, Mingus, Zappa, Jarrett, and Sonny Stitt.
It was inspired by my project of listing on my home computer every new jazz release from 2026 that I could find... and marveling at how unusual some of those titles were so now i get to play a track from some of those new releases and when possible explore the reason behind those titles some of the titles fit well and others Well, I start to wonder if it's an attention-seeking gimmick, but I'll start off with one that I think is a great example of how the title so perfectly reflects the experience of its creator, as well as how that experience connects to the essence of the music.
