We're back from our adventure on The Adventure! Find out about our thoughts on this huge ship! May contain traces of escalators.
So the boarding experience getting onto the Adventure was, um, a little bit different from what I expected.
I expected really, really strict, like, Singaporean kind of guidelines in terms of times and that kind of thing.
Um, we decided that we were going to, uh, go down to port a little bit earlier.
So we had a, an 11:45 port arrival time.
We decided that we're going to leave our hotel at 11:00 AM, and we knew that it was about a 15-minute, um, cab ride-
Mm-hmm
... taxi ride from where we were.
And so away we went, and we were down at port by, I would say 11:30, and that was pretty cool.
Mm-hmm.
And we, uh, went straight to the front because they said, "Oh, you, we're, we're already taking the 12 o'clock people through." We're like, "Huh, isn't that interesting?"
Oof.
12 o'clock people going through right now.
But just, just also you gotta point out that there's, you got a port arrival time, and then you've also a boarding number.
That's right.
You've got your boarding group number, which is already set-
Yeah
... which is kinda cool.
So the people that were just in front of us, which was really cool, they had a port arrival time of, like, 12 o'clock, and there's children out on deck.
Um, [laughs] hopefully they're gonna bugger off.
Um, they had a, um, port arrival time of 12 o'clock, but they went through with us in the same group.
Um, but they had boarding group 10.
Hmm.
Uh, we were boarding group eight, and that was super cool, so they just kind of got us through the initial check-in, and that was cool because we, we didn't have to do anything except they offered to, um, print out our, uh, the boarding passes.
Yep.
And so we took them up on that because then we could use our phones freely.
