If You Want a Village, You Have to Be a Villager

I was very inspired slash slightly enraged slash upset.

a little more slightly activated by some things that are going on in the, we'll say, coaching space, in the women in business space.

And I want to talk about it.

And I have a lot of feelings around this.

And I didn't want to talk about this too soon because I really wanted to sit with it.

I wanted to sit with how I felt and what feels true to me.

versus letting all the noise in letting all the posts in and what people are saying and how they're feeling.

I wanted to sit with how I felt.

And anytime I do that, I shouldn't say never, but often, I am able to hold many truths.

And I think that's hard for a lot of people.

I know that was hard for me.

I had a stubbornness about me for many years.

I lived in a lot of fear.

I lived in people pleasing mode.

I lived in ego.

We all have ego to some extent.

I still am always doing what I can to detach from ego.

But I tend to, when I go introspective, be able to see many perspectives and allow many perspectives to exist.

Understanding that most things, if not everything, has a gray area.

Maybe not like math and things that are more definitive, but when it comes to human behavior, human relationships, it's gray.

And that's what makes them interesting and challenging and help us grow and all those things.

So I want to disclaim, and to be honest, I am speaking from my heart, so God only knows what's coming out.

All I know is it's going to be true.

It's going to be my truth, my layers of truth that I've been experiencing as I'm contemplating.

But my disclaimer is to you is that if you feel offended in any way by anything I share on this episode, I would simply just encourage you to consider or invite you to consider why that might be why you might feel offended.
