My name is Joanne.

I am an American living in Belgium.

I have been writing Clojure for, I guess, maybe since 2017, 18.

I'm on and off.

And my last job before my current Clojure job, I was running Elixir.

Yeah, I've kind of been doing a lot of functional programming for the last...

Yeah, almost 10 years, which is weird to think about.

But yeah, I was a developer living in Belgium, lived in a lot of places in the States.

Nice.

We have to come back to Elixir later because I've done some Elixir as well, and I kind of love it.

So let's earmark a little bit of time to love on Elixir, I hope.
