Justin SmithHost
Our first season tackles one of the most discussed topics in modern parenting and medicine, vaccines.

Few issues generate more fear, stronger opinions, or more confusion than vaccines.

For many, vaccines represent one of the greatest public health achievements in human history.

They hear one thing from their pediatrician, another from social media, another from friends, and yet another from family members.

In this season, we're going to slow down and examine the questions behind the controversy.

Why did vaccines become such a divisive issue? How do vaccines actually work? What do we know about their safety? Why does the autism question continue to surface decades after it was first raised? What can we learn from the history of vaccine preventable diseases? And how can families have productive conversations about vaccines without damaging relationships? My goal isn't to tell you what to think.

My goal is to help you better understand the evidence, recognize the limits of our knowledge, and think more clearly about one of the most important medical topics parents encounter.

Whether you're fully convinced, deeply skeptical, or simply curious, you're welcome here.
