Um, so marami kang mga quotable quotes, but one of the interesting things sinabi mo, and by the way, this is also in your book, uh, and I remember it from the very first time I r-- uh, nung binasa ko palang ng draft ng your fantastic latest book, uh, is this-
... weird coincidence na both mga neoliberal at both mga leftists, same yung stance sa inflation.
... suspects natin na economic thought leaders natin, parang talking points nila is not too different also dun sa cr-- sa mga critical from the left side of the political spectrum.
Isn't that interesting? Because they, they don't talk about industrial policy too, which is i-involve mo yung domestic industries-

Mahirap kasi yung economics 'di ba, because many times a regime you don't like may have good economics, or sometimes a regime you do like will have bad economics.

So, [laughs] ito, pag-uusapan natin 'to pagdating dun sa Leni and Risa debate.

Kasi for example, I love Leni, pero yung economic, yung economic platform niya nung tumakbo siya the first time around, I didn't like.

I can go-- I can still say I'm voting for Leni, all in na ako kay Leni kahit meron akong puntuhin dun sa kanyang economic-- dun sa kanyang economics.

Um, a-at the same breath, you know, I'm a huge fan of Secretary Sonny Dominguez.

Wala namang taong tatawag sa'king DDS, 'di ba? So, [tsak] I think a lot of the commentary is nababahiran nung ganun, 'di ba, na well, kasi, uh, galit ako kay Marcos, galit ako sa US, so automatically bad economics ka agad.

And there's a chance that's true, 'di ba? There's a reason why we don't like people.

There's a reason why we don't like Marcos Sr., because he did sell us out to the US.

There's a reason why we don't like the Un-United States economics because they practically, i-they colonized us, and then they left two major bases in our country, and then they gave immunity to their soldiers.

Pero we have to recognize, ito simple truth, bad people can do good things.

Um, and until we recognize that, hindi, hindi objective yung treatment natin of certain things.

Y-sure, m-most of the time bad people do bad things, but, you know, um, I don't think, uh, the Duterte administration was horrible, but I think, like, Secretary Dominguez, Carl Chua did, did a great job.
