Turning Financial Data into Actionable Market Intelligence

Yeah, it's awesome.

So we talk about a lot of different kinds of data on this show every week.

And I think this is an interesting one, because this I think this is a topic we haven't touched on before.

So I'm excited to jump into the first topic using real time market data to drive smarter decisions.

Love to get your your thoughts on this, like, what does this mean? And, and what are you guys doing? And what are you seeing the market doing in this space?

Yeah, this is a weird niche corner of the data world.

So the best way to think about it is imagine your 401k provider, or if you have a Robinhood account, if you were to search for Apple and you go to their stocks details page, everything that you see on the stocks details page is the data that we're talking about, the earnings, the dividends, the analyst ratings, the newsfeed.

That's the type of data that we're providing from Benzinga to our partners.

That same data is used by the hedge funds.

And so using real time market data to drive smarter decisions.

I mean, the market itself is so dynamic and By definition, these events that are happening throughout the day influence the price.

Whether you're a long-term investor or you're a day trader or you're a multi-billion dollar hedge fund, you have to know what's going on in the market.

You have to know how the earnings went.

You have to know what's happening politically, the economic calendars in the major countries.

the IPOs that are happening with the SpaceX thing.

I mean, it's the market in itself is just a conglomeration of data.

And so we try to get it to people as fast and as accurate as we can.

Yeah, I would imagine this is something that's probably only touched the tip of the iceberg in the sense that you know, with AI and a lot of people using, you know, AI to trade now understanding market data in real time and what's going on is, is something that's, you know, people I would imagine are using these AI agents to, to, you

know,

manipulate sort of understand what's going on in the market and, and manage their trades.

So I'd love to kind of dig into that.

Like, what do you see people, how do you see people using this data? Is that, is, am I spot on or, you know, where's it going how how how much are we going to see of this in the future

yeah there's there's two parts to it the first part is a little more advanced and it's like the automated trading that we're seeing with a lot of these brokerage partners so Robinhood for example just announced their uh MCP automated trading solution I'm not sure what they called it but About a year ago, they announced Cortex, which was an AI summarization tool where you could ask it a question or it would summarize the news for a stock that you're looking at.

Now they're releasing the more advanced, hey, you can trade with AI based on certain inputs into this AI engine.
