You have met her before in a previous episode where we really talked to her more so about her dietician perspective.

But today, she's coming back on the podcast more so putting on her body-neutral personal trainer hat.

And we're really going to dive into my juicy story that I shared a few weeks ago when I told you about how I went to the gym and the personal trainer did a body assessment on me and told me to lose 12 pounds.

So we're going to kind of get her take, her feedback, some advice about how to handle feedback from personal trainers if you have a similar situation.

And also just really, I think, get some like eye-opening perspective on why personal trainers say these things, what it actually means when they say these things.

It was just like a really powerful episode where we kind of started At one place, which was kind of like encouraging you to stop giving your power away to the scale or these personal trainers or these in-body assessments.

And I think you're going to feel really like empowered to actually have the confidence to dismiss useful information like your body in-body data.

But before we have Sam back on, I do want to just share a little bit about her just in case you forgot.

And And her mission is really to empower people to live their best lives through movement and balanced nutritional practices.

She does have her master's in food science and nutrition, as well as a BS in kinesiology and movement studies.

So my point being, when we're talking about personal training and fitness and movement today, she really knows what she's talking about.

With hundreds of clients, she has coached over 2,000 classes at Orange Theory, and she prides herself on creating a safe and inclusive space for clients working with people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.

So I really am excited for you to have her perspective and really get another way of viewing the personal training, assessment, body image experience that I know so many people have left feeling very scarred from.
