So tell us about this unusual combination of breeds that you've got going on there.

Tell us, Anna, you didn't hand over the jerseys.

You kept up with those and you still have your Friesians.

Tell us how you run the farm and how you start at the beginning of the season, I guess, with calving times and we've just come through that.

How do you manage that?

Yeah, so basically once we winter some of our cows off on a support block there, so they all get mixed together for wintertime.

And they get dried off in their calving dates.

Yeah, all separated into sort of carving dates.

There's three sort of winter mobs.

And as I cut, but they're all together.

And so basically we just carve them all through one shed.

And then once we have a few of them carved, we start up a second shed.

And that's where they go back to their separate herds.

We've got yellow tags and yellow tags for the jerseys and orange tags for the Friesians.

And so they kind of go to their rightful places.

Anna still doesn't want my Friesians to taint her jerseys, but...

It's one of those things that always got going on there, but it works really well.

So it's kind of cool because you can compare the breeding side of things on how well each one of them does.

And generally, they're not too far off each other.

So yeah, it was quite interesting.
