The oldest game I played so far this year is Metal Gear Solid 1, which was I think a 98 game.

Well, it is funny to look back at old games we've been playing as we kick off episode 336, the Current Gen Podcast, because there's so many new games out right now.

The reason we were talking about this, those of you who are watching and listening, is because there's so many new games we're trying to juggle.

And it is a challenge, but it is a good challenge.

Just as we go through this, and even the next several weeks as we talk about how busy we are and we'll make jokes about our wallets hurting and stuff, I don't want this problem to go away.

I like having a lot of great games that I really want to play.

So don't get me wrong.

But I will complain about how much money I'm spending.

And it's my own fault.

And I hope everything sells.

I hope everything sucks.

I hope

all of it does well.

I want no teams to get laid off or furloughed or any of the things.

I just want everything to do well.

We want that, yes.

And I'm helping because I'm buying everything.

I had to do a little bit of moving around, which I haven't had to do in a long time.

By the way, real quick, before we dive into games, there's a lot of games to get to.

You guys talking about teaching people stuff.

Today was my first time teaching the next wave of my kids to drive because I've already got two that are past driving age.

And so now I'm teaching my almost 16-year-old twins.

And so one of them finished his courses first.

So he was out there today and I was teaching him in the parking lot like – nice it's just one of those things you take you take for granted like whether it's you with the abacus kyle or most of us with driving you take for granted how good you are at using it you know what i mean so

where you're like oh yeah i guess i guess turning is a little weird like when you're just using the wheel to turn like it's a little weird to get used to that stuff if you have was i

the only weirdo that like kind of was trying to use both feet when i with the pedals like i was like right i think you're the only one Yeah, I think that's

probably a pretty common habit to break, I would say.

Like, I know

you're not supposed to, but it just felt weird.

I just didn't get the motion of moving your foot right away, but I got it pretty quick.

I

think I did need to be convinced that using one foot was faster than using two.

I was just like, that doesn't make any sense.

But yeah, brainwave-wise, it does make sense.

And also not creating a jarring stop-start experience for everybody in the car, trying to use two

different feet.

That would be...

I have had a thing where I remember when I hurt, what did I do? I think I had to have something with one of my toes I had injured.

And so anyway, I remember I had to use my left foot for like a week.

So I just kind of like sat a little bit diagonal and used my left foot.

That's awkward, yeah.

That must be awkward.

Did not like that.

I'm glad I

survived it.

But

yeah, that was not great.
