all right well we'll just get started then with episode 326 of the current gen podcast it's just tim and kyle here just tim and kyle the other guys are dead probably we think So

that's usually the bit, right? They're dead.

Yeah, probably horribly.

Maybe of something really itchy.

I don't know.

Almost certainly something Itchy related, that's for sure, knowing those two guys.

But we've got, listen, this is one of the quieter weeks.

It feels like kind of this eye of the storm because we had tons of games released the last few months.

We had a huge news week last week, a longer episode as we went through a ton of trailers and we're getting all hyped for the rest of this year.

And let's be honest, 2027 also looking pretty amazing.

and then this week has felt like hey let's slow everything down let's let's just announce some layoffs and not release any games you know that's what it has felt like a little bit yeah a little balance uh because i think you know next week and certainly the week after that we'll start to see releases pick back up again but uh yeah a little bit quieter on the release front kyle i don't know if that's have you felt that too like there's okay good everyone pause for a minute

Yeah, absolutely.

It's a good time to go and play an old game that you had never intended on playing.

That's the time of year it is right now.
