On this week's Chicago Symphony Orchestra broadcast, we'll bring you a selection of waltzes and other dance numbers by Johann Strauss Jr. They're the focus of a classic 1960 recording led by sixth music director Fritz Reiner.
To begin the program, Janicek's Sinfonietta started out as a commission for a massive gymnastics festival.
