So when it's hot in Florida, he goes up to Jersey and he plays his horn and then he comes and lives in Punta Gorda.
But Him and his wife, Judy, they do the auto train, which I like that.
uh on my ireland trip i did something i've never done before i we we took a whole uh tour bus like the coach bus and put it on a ferry and went across a body of water which was kind of wild i'd never done i've never done a ferry ride before much less a whole like uh pile of cars on a ferry that was kind of cool i felt finally at home being back on the water
were you off were you off the bus or do you stay on the bus while the ferry is happening
No, once you're on there, and it was only about a 25-minute ferry ride, so once the coach was on there, they opened the doors, and we went and stood at the top of the ferry and watched the, it was the mouth of the Shannon River, the Shannon Estuary is what they called it, so yeah, we got up there, and we, you know, it was a wild, we're on the bus a lot, I felt like a rock and roller, man, on a tour bus, I mean, except the bus wasn't as nice as that kind of tour bus, but Yeah, we were on the bus every day, but that was the highlight of the bus trip, I think, getting on that ferry and going across.
So I'll take the water anytime.
No seasickness for me at all.
So speaking of the bus trip, I think that kind of speaks to another thing about cruising that I think people – I don't know.
People just get wrong.
I mean I just think that a lot of times you hear and some of the people that don't cruise will say, I know what cruising is all about.
You get on a ship.
You're in the middle of the ocean.
You're crammed together with a bunch of people that are over long lines at the buffet, and then you get off – for about four hours, and then they herd you back like cattle onto the ship.
I think that's a big one where people kind of misconception, for lack of better terms, because I think you're planning a day.
You know where you're going several days before.
Maybe you plan your excursion while you're on board the ship.
Maybe you plan it several days, weeks, or months before, but you have an allocated amount of time.
to be able to spend, and it's usually not four hours.
I mean, four hours, six hours, six hours is very short.
