Take your Bible and please turn to Acts chapter 6.

Acts chapter 6.

The title of today's message is Help Wanted.

Help Wanted.

Now, we've said this before, and my intention is to say this again ad nauseum until you are absolutely sick of it, but the purpose of Crossroads is to glorify Jesus Christ by making more and better disciples from among the college students and college-aged individuals of Los Angeles.

If you are in college or you're college age, even if you're not registered for classes right now, our prayer for you, our desire for you is that you would come to know Jesus Christ in a saving way if you don't already know him.

And if you do know him, that you would walk in increasing obedience to him and affection for him, that you would love him.

as the King of kings and Lord of lords, and you would realize that there is no person and nothing else in all of existence that is more worthy than Him.

Period.

That is our heart for you, that you would love Jesus and serve Jesus.

Jesus tells us in Acts 1, verse 8, He spoke this to His apostles, His disciples, but it is a message that carries on to you and to me that we are to be His witnesses.

We are to be His witnesses.

He told the apostles, you'll be my witnesses in Jerusalem.

And then expand the circle to Judea.

And then expand the circle a little bit bigger to Samaria.

And then expand the circle to the uttermost parts of the earth.

And that commission has been passed down for 2,000 years to you and to me.
