And the advice from Surf Life Saving NSW, a non-profit that promotes water safety, is to just go to a local pool.

These shark attacks happen in my street, on my beach.
It's never been like this.
I've said it before, if you've seen the beasts I've seen out there while I've been fishing, there's no way in the world you'd be out there surfing.
I guess if your
totem was the shark, then you'd care for the shark, but then you'd also care for its habitat.
When it's feeding time for them, why would you go and swim with them? And that's that understanding.
When you gain knowledge of something, you actually start to respect it.
