A Quick Announcement from Mike

Good evening, Profilers.

This is Mike Adamic, creator and writer of Crime Adjacent, breaking the fourth wall for a quick announcement I have been dreading.

Starting now, today, I'm going to make a change to the show.

New Crime Adjacent mysteries will drop every other Wednesday instead of every week.

But good news, Patreon supporters will receive a bonus episode each month.

The reason is simple.

These stories, they are monsters to create.

Every mystery has to be conceived, researched, plotted, written, recorded, edited, and most importantly, actually work as an engaging true crime mystery you can solve.

Doing that every seven days has been fun and exhilarating, but also draining in more ways than one.

As transparently as possible, the show hasn't quite made up for its costs in ad revenue, so that's not sustainable.

Plus, most of all, I don't want to make more Crime Adjacent if that means making worse Crime Adjacent, a show that neither you nor I are proud of.

So I'm giving each show and storyline a little more time to brew in the hopes that I can continue to provide you with longer, deeper, more interesting stories that you'll stick around for.

But like I said, I'm also making Patreon a much bigger part of the show.

Every month, members will get one bonus episode early, long before the rest of the general listening public gets to hear these episodes.

Beginning next month, I'll start dropping a monthly bonus episode into the feeds of Patreon supporters.
