The beauty of the Catechism as it was intended is that it's very compact and it's intentionally repetitive and it's cumulative.
And it was intended to be memorized and recited so that once you learn a sort of a vocabulary and some phrases, then the next time you see it, you've already got that right.
And it's cumulative all the way through, and certain things get repeated again and again.
So it's well done pedagogically, it's very adept theologically, and it's very obviously and famously pastoral.
