I often hear the response that like, well, you know, you shouldn't really just be worried about, you know, gaining knowledge, right? You shouldn't just be worried about learning more stuff.
What's really important is, I don't know, either your Christian experience or the things you do with your hands, your actions.
But I want to say that if it is indeed true that the telos, the end of the intellectual faculty, is to apprehend truth, that means that understanding truth, especially divine truth, is inherently good.
