In this episode, I’m joined by Jack Chitty, brand designer and founder of Chittco to talk all about his experience with pursuing a creative career even when you’re scared to. We talk about Jack’s life…
Jack ChittyGuestRobynHostYeah, 'cause I knew I wanted to build a personal brand, and I got to the point where I was like, if I am gonna build a personal brand, that means that people need to know the person behind the brand, which is me.
Um, so I knew that I was not gonna be able to, like, create this agency and then hide behind it and people be like, "I love this agency's work," but they don't really know the head designer by name.

And some people, they come to me and they'll be like, "Oh my God, I haven't seen you since high school and I just saw your Adobe ad on YouTube."
And I'm like, "Oh, that's embarrassing." [laughs]
Yeah

... to a wedding, um, soon, relatively soon after I went full time, and seeing all the people that used to take the piss out of me in the same boring job doing the same thing was-
Ugh
[laughs] Yeah.
Ugh, that's crazy.
I mean, I think you're right.
It has become a little bit embarrassing to try things.
I agree with you though.
I don't know why.
Like, learning is fun.
