Yes, the owner's history plays a significant role, especially in this case.

The owner of Eleni 60m previously owned Eleni 50m before she was sold in 2022 and that yacht had and has an impeccable charter reputation.

she is an outstanding yacht with really good crew at any given time successful charters and was already very well known within the broker network so when the owner came back into the market with eleni 60 meters we weren't really starting from zero the Yacht itself was new to the market, but the owner was new to charter.

There was already some history there and brokers knew that this was an owner who understood charter, who previously ran a very successful program and understood the level of investment and commitment required to deliver a good charter experience.

And I think that was a huge part of why brokers were willing to engage with Eleni 60 meters so early.

especially considering we didn't have the usual marketing materials to rely on.

We still managed to secure a full season of bookings and at one stage had around 15 weeks of offers on the table.

So I think an owner's history can give a new yacht credibility before it has even had the chance to build its own reputation.

and did incredibly well but she wasn't starting from zero and she was starting with the credibility that the owner already built through his previous charter program
