Derek and I are putting out content on our YouTube channel, so we're just getting through our previews for all the Power 4 teams for the upcoming season.
I don't think it was really a super intentional decision to launch this product for those sports, college basketball and college football.
The previous product that we pivoted from was related to college sports, so it was a natural evolution there.
I have had significant losses just in capital markets, whether it's trying to trade stocks, options, stuff like that.
I was not good at guessing, you know, the outcomes of games, right? Because that's what it is.
It's a lot of, you know, luck-based stuff, and for me personally, I got into Dynasty Fantasy Football, and what that made me realize is, like, the long-term kind of speculation within the sport, right? That's obviously NFL, but the long-term speculation was way more rewarding than any sort of short-term bet that you could make, and I think that was kind of the realization for me.
And that took several years of, of actually like playing that game of dynasty, um, that I think we realized like, Hey, there's, there's this gap in the market that is the market for, for speculating on these, these, um, leagues.
There's a gap in the sense that there's not really a good way to do long-term speculation.
Um, So yeah, that's really the primary motivation for me to kind of see this product through,
You're speaking to kind of the, obviously the bigger point too is, well, your Dynasty comment reminded me of, you know, how This entire concept is it's year round.
It's not just I mean, you mentioned the future thing, but it's not just like when the season's over in normal sports betting, you know, if you're following a baseball team, whatever you got, you got a dark window there.
But with with kind of this concept here, you know, a transfer portal edition, a five star recruit, a coach getting fired in February, whatever it is, that can all fluctuate.
