Um, obviously building yourselves, building, you know, obviously the, on the sports side of things, but then also with the business side of things.

And so, like I said, great segue into kinda, you know, Against The Grain, where we're at now.

And obviously growing up together, you know, I'm sure it's very competitive, and then now coming to that-

And so ha- has the idea always been, have you guys always been like, "You know, we wanna start a business together, we wanna work together"? Has that always kind of been a thing, or is it just, you know, as of, as of late?

Uh, I would say that it wasn't really, uh, we really didn't know what we wanted to do, um, but coming up we knew that it had to be something.

And so- Absolutely ... um, you know, we just started thinking of things, uh, that, you know, our journey has allowed us to do.

You know, we, we speak through our journeys because, I mean, we're, we've been doing it for such a long time.

So, uh, for us to be able to make Against The Grain, uh, with the help of our parents of course, and, you know, see, you know, see how it unfolds is just great.

And so that's another reason why we just can't wait to continue speaking about it, especially to, to Constant Sports.

Yeah, and just to add on something, um, I think the goal was to always be different, but just to make a change and change the narrative.

So like he said, always wanted to, you know, be able to spread awareness and do something differently from the mainstream, so that's the, the choice we wanted to do and, you know, that's why we even built Against The Grain, just to be different and, uh, just teach these athletes a few things.

With the, you know, ambition young athletes have, you know, the journeys they have, and then kind of one of the, the, the, you know, purposes of Against The Grain I was reading was, you know, helping these athletes build that confidence, find direction, you know, and having that real world growth or access.

And so where is that kind of aligning within the mission that you guys are creating with Against The Grain and how athletes can kinda get involved and be involved?

Um, well, we believe our mission at Against The Grain is to, you know, equip athletes to the transition, uh, beyond the game with purpose.

We want these athletes, or these student athletes, to be able to have a plan and not just compete at the highest level and have a plan, but not ask the question of what's next.

You already have that plan in place, and doing the things you do and being able to be transferable with the skills that you develop, that's all about having your plan and being prepared after, after life because, you know, once you take off that jersey for the last time and you have that question of, "What am I gonna do with my life?" You already was prepared while you were competing at the highest level.
