Anastasia was born and raised in Ukraine, where, as we'll hear, her creativity began at a very early age.
After studying film direction, she moved to California, where she developed a successful photographic career, helping people in industry and elsewhere develop powerful personal brands through a storytelling approach to her art.
As with many photographers, personal work becomes a passion, too, and an outlet for creativity.
In her San Francisco apartment during lockdown, she devised a series called Photo Teleportation, in which she photographed people the world over on Zoom calls with the help of a pocket projector.
It's been exhibited in London, to where she moved recently, and from her London home, she spoke with me.
