We go to a lot of events, we do a lot of speaking, we obviously post on social and all of that, but really has been such a referral-based business.

And there has been a bit of an art to that, taking a lot of connecting, reconnecting, and really just being kind of top of mind for people when they think about whatever it is that you're doing.

And, you know, I also have to remind people that people love to do business with people that they know, like, and trust, right? This isn't in my notes, but that's why things like social media, podcasting, email lists, LinkedIn newsletters, all of those things are just so important because know, like, and trust is one of those amazing things that get built over time.

Not sure if it'll close or not, but I got a referral from somebody who I knew from elementary school, but they just saw that I was posting on LinkedIn all the time.

And since then, we've been kind of connecting and they have made some referrals for me, which has been amazing.

So I would say another thing that comes up to people all the time when they think about my business is they'll say, oh my gosh, you're so good at keeping in touch with people.

And the truth is, is that it's less about being a personality trait and more about it being something that's kind of top of mind for me and kind of systemic.

Of course, because I'm naturally more of like a relationship person, I do connect with people probably more than the average bear.

I'm going to tell you guys exactly how I do it, how I remain top of mind for people, and what I recommend to people when we coach them on just that.

We meet people all the time, right? So at events, through referrals, on calls.

And you guys know, I think connection calls are one of the greatest hacks to go on your business.

An example of this, and I'll leave a link in the show notes, but I'm a member of the Entreprenista League.

And early on, I did calls with so many people and I still get referrals to this day.

But you know that over time, we start to kind of like lose steam on some of these things, right? Like life comes in for me.
