@vintage\_valor drops the medical knowledge onto @glogistician as @liquoredrabbit keeps on a higher level of knowledge.
And I want to hit this and I want to leave this as a, I don't know, a little gift basket for people to find and go, oh crap, I want to hear about that.
But I want to ask you, since you worked in Africa and we were discussing COVID, what are the medications that you think most preppers would ignore and should have on tap? Because you're dealing with everything from generic diseases over there to Ebola to God only knows whatever else.
Okay.
What are some things that you could say, you're a generic person, you don't know snot like me, what would you keep in your house and what would you keep a lot of or at least a little of?
First is, like Rabbit already knows, is any medicine that you're on on a regular basis that you should probably have three months stored up of.
Then they should have three months of their seizure meds stored up of, minimum.
If you have kids and you want to get like Motrin and you want to get Tylenol, you want to get things that are, you know, for the seasonal emergencies like cough, cold, high temp.
So anything clava mocks, get an extra script, the clava mocks from your doctor for ear infections for children.
If your wife is an asthmatic, then you want to get at least two or three MDIs, the metered dose inhalers, you know, ipitropium bromide or albuterol.
What I would do also if my wife was an asthmatic, just as an example, I would go to like Amazon and I would find a battery powered either a POMO aid, which is a little device that pumps the nebulized medicine into the patient's lungs.
Now, I would get one of those, and I would be able to run that off a battery pack, like a Bluetti or a Jackery battery pack.
