Historian and Comms Chat

Yes.

It, it took me a moment.

I was like, "Wait a minute, wait a minute.

Is it..." I'll be there as well.

I'll be assisting who I can when I can.

I need to, again, brush up on getting the radios.

If you come up to the course, it's definitely going to be right up the road from Brush Beater's store.

I know he l-last time had some radios on hand, and we've talked about the G90 before.

We've talked about the 6100.

There's the 6200 option.

And if you spend any time in, in the end of the day, I will try to get your radio, if I'm smart enough, unlocked so you have full band capacity as well.

I can't always say it's possible.

Last time it took Mrs. Brush Beater to be there to assist with [laughs] some of the software end of things.

But we did get it done for most of the people coming.

If not, I will direct you towards links where you can do it yourself, and the G90 is extremely easy.

It's literally pop open the panel, there's an arrow pointed to it, and you just take a, take a little diode out, and that thing's open to the wind too.

I, I know, Historian, you have a G90, correct? We've, we've talked about this a little bit.

Yeah.

I bought the G90, and I bought it from the Brush Beater store.

Their prices were competitive, and their, their customer service is excellent.

I have not had any problems with mine.

I really like that radio.

For the price, the capability that comes with it is really remarkable.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how capable that little radio is.

Now, it's an HF only radio, so you're not gonna get DC to daylight as you will with some of the other more expensive radios out there.
