But they started with basically very few to no weapons and still managed to hold off the Wehrmacht and the SS for at least two weeks with virtually nothing in the way of armament to start.
And they collected it the old-fashioned way by killing the people that had the guns and then using their guns against them.
So, you know, and fighting in cities, I mean, ask the Russians about fighting Chechens in cities.
