For listeners who may not be familiar, can you just tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to start Finger Lakes Effects?

We had talked about this, and I'm trying to work on my elevator pitch, if you will, so maybe the listeners can give me some feedback.

But really, it's just combining my interest and my skills and what I do and do well with what I want to do.

And To get more specific about that, it's combining my interest in what I've done.

I've done a lot of digital marketing, but then bringing that into the real world.

So combining those things together was really what I wanted to do and get myself out in the world.

And I think that as time went on and I talked to more people about the idea before I got started, it was a really strong feedback of like, yes, like that makes so much sense.

But also, oh, if you did that and you talked about, you know, what's going on, what are the events going on? What's your take on it? Did you like this restaurant, this and that? A lot of good feedback.

And so that was really kind of the kickoff point for that and just kind of started as a slight passion project with my wife helping out on some of the food related stuff.

And then beyond that too, although I'm located in Ithaca, we like to get out and explore.

And so while I want to connect with my neighbors, I want to connect with my local community, I also want to know what's going on in Geneva.
