Now you may wonder what is in store for the podcast now that I've moved and it's a new chapter.
I know for a while I talked a lot about goal setting and making sure that your life was in line with your goals, decluttering things that were preventing you from achieving your goals and that type of thing.
We talked also about just decluttering physical items and making sure those weren't holding you back in your daily life.
And I've been thinking about this, and you may also wonder, well, now what is the podcast going to look like now that you're in a different phase of life? So the answer to that is I think that minimalism will be important to me and my family now more than ever because we are living in a new country, getting settled in a new place, and trying to start this new chapter in a new way.
in accordance to our priorities and in accordance to our values and what we care about most and so minimalism will be at the forefront of everything we do and we need to be careful that we don't just fall into the trap of thinking like oh we need to get settled so we need to go out we need to buy a bunch of stuff to make this feel like a home or we We need to buy a ton of clothes now that we're not traveling anymore and we have closets and we can actually fill them.
We could easily go out and just like shop and buy things.
There's also a lot of things that we don't have that we're used to having and we have to decide if we want to go out and buy those things.
So there's going to be a lot of decisions that come up in the next few weeks and months as we are getting adjusted so i think that the podcast will be helpful to you and helpful even to me as i'm navigating minimalism in the midst of this brand new chapter So with minimalism comes living deliberately, deliberate decisions.
And every single decision we've made thus far since we got to Doha has really been aligned to this goal we have of adventure plus stability.
That's the theme right now.
We want to continue our travels.
We want to continue our planning trips for the school breaks that we have and showing the kids the world, but also provide a sense of routine and stability.
So we need to keep that in the forefront of every decision we make.
is this in line with still being able to travel and then also is this in line with providing the kids a sense of stability while we're not traveling and those are the questions we need to ask ourselves so for you you may need to ask yourself different questions but whatever those questions are are the ones that will be driving your deliberate life So right now you need to ask what is the goal for you? What is the theme? What is the chapter? Is it one of stability? Is it one of growth? Is it one of adventure? What phase are you in? I know one of my last episodes I talked about different chapters that we have in our life and how sometimes we have different goals depending on the chapter.
Right now I'm in that adventure plus stability chapter.
What chapter are you in and what questions do you need to ask yourself when you're making decisions.
