A Powerful Prayer

Thank you, brothers, for leading us so well.

Worship, or singing, is the first response of a redeemed heart.

That's the response of redemption.

If you remember, after the Israelites exited Egypt, the first thing they did was to hold a worship service.

And Miriam led forth with a song.

They sang a new song.

And the throng in heaven at this very moment is doing the same thing.

Worthy is the lamb to receive glory, honor, power, might, wisdom.

That's what redeemed people do.

And that's what we've just done.

But the world sings too.

The world sings, but they have no reason to sing.
