We had always kind of planned to do a draft preview, but man, just a whole bunch of college hockey news coming As of late, and that's fine by me.

The freshest news came down this morning, not publicly confirmed by the player himself, but you and others are reporting that Landon DuPont, the young defenseman, has made his decision as far as a college commitment.

Yes, he has made his calls and he is going to end up playing at the University of Michigan next year.

And he is he's one of those players who is going to be playing college hockey in his draft year.

There are some other very good players that are going to be at the top, like Privolov, the big Russian forward.

All of that, whether he goes one, whether he goes five, I don't think it really matters in the fact that he's just a... a tremendous hockey player either way generates a lot of offense.

And, you know, this is a team that's loaded and, and, and ready to make a run at it.

This adds to another piece there on the blue line, where Michigan did lose a couple blue liners.

I feel like the roles that Tyler Duke and Luca Fantilli played last year really got overlooked.
