There's still no signs of Joshua or the iron sphere he took with him.
I did, however, take a closer look at the photo of him with the fish, the photo on the corkboard, and why I didn't check this before, I have no idea, but behind the photo was writing.
But it said, it said...

It says, "Jeg har det bra.
Bedre enn på lenge.
Min familie er trygg.
Mine døtre er trygge.
Håper du har det fint på stasjonen din.
Ta vare på dere begge.
Med vennlig hilsen, Joshua." Now, I think he must have learned how to write Norwegian, or he had someone help him, you know.
Either way, I was touched by his effort.
[chuckles] Oh, of course, I'm sorry.
I'm doing better than I have been in a long time.
My family is safe.
My daughters are safe.
And I hope you are having a good time at your station.
