Three kids in tow, exact right building, the right time, yay for me, but on the wrong day.
He said it happens way more than you would expect, but I was not kind to myself about it, and I'm still not kind to myself about it, if I'm being honest.
The week beforehand, I had one of those conversations with my husband, you know, the ones, the one that starts about something small and it ends up somewhere much bigger.
And that always happens when we talk about societal norms and male versus female and all of that stuff, because I get so riled up about it.
And he said something along the lines of longevity was created by a man.
Biohacking guys who are optimizing their sleep and their macros and optimizing the years in their lives.
And I said, no, actually, no, because it is the focus of my world right now.
My perimenopausal brain, the one that turns up to appointments three days early, is evidence enough of the fact that we need it more than any gym bro ever will.
But we're talking about who longevity is actually for and why the beauty industry is about to prove me right.
