So speaking of that, six weeks after I came into the role, the co-op had what was either its most devastating storm ever or very close to it.

The most important thing that I learned was the power and strength of my team.

So the district managers, the linemen, all of the corporate support staff that it takes to restore an outage is phenomenal.
When did you find out this was happening, and then how did it all unfold? Oh,

and it was one of those things where it's kind of hard to sleep at night because you know it's starting to come through.

There were multiple rounds of precipitation, and I knew pretty soon it was going to be an issue because one of my district managers was like, this is going to be an issue.

We had multiple outages, and our guys were going out to restore homes, As soon as they got the line back up, more precipitation would come through and it crashed back down.

Sometimes you just need to let some of the danger pass before you send your guys back out.
