Have you ever built a reputation around something only to realize you've outgrown the box that people put you in? Again, I've been asking myself this a lot.

If you've followed me for any amount of time, you probably know me as the podcast person.

Yeah, the person you come to when you wanna launch a podcast or you wanna outsource your editing.

It is about realizing that the thing that I've been helping people build all along wasn't just a podcast.

As I have shared over the last few weeks on this show, my business is in a season of restructuring.

We're taking a hard look at what we offer, how we serve clients, and honestly, what this business will look like over the next several years, not just over the next several months.

So instead of asking like, oh, what will I sell next? Or what type of content should I be creating? I have to look at it as what is the business I'm actually building? Because if you had asked me five years ago, I would have said, I'm building a podcast production agency.

Because I'm helping business owners become more visible, more trusted, and more profitable by using their podcast as one piece of a much bigger strategy.

So what's interesting is that I don't think the work has changed nearly as much as my understanding of it has, because when I first started, I was just editing podcast episodes.
