"I never believed... until I grew closer to the night..." CLANCYPASTA PRESENTS ► "One Night, There Was a Second Moon" written by Justas Ran, narrated by ClancyPasta Here are ways to support the…
A calm, regular February afternoon, with the hopes of a soon-coming spring, but still the early and devastatingly depressing sunset.
People were not spending much time outside.
The ones that did, though, saw something so phenomenal that at the moment it could only be explained as the biggest mirage in history.
I was one of those special people.
I've always
loved the night, no matter winter or spring.
The moon would give me a primal energy that I could tap into and experience life just a little bit more extraordinarily.
I was outside that day, relaxing by the seaside, thinking of what I should do for dinner today, when I noticed that there was another moon.
It didn't appear all of a sudden.
It did not gradually fade in.
It was just there as if it's been there for millennia.
It looked like a one-to-one copy of the moon that we know.
It carried the same amount of light, had the same grey groovy holes.
In the first second, I already felt that it was giving me the same energy as our original partner.
I went ahead and talked to some random strangers that I saw by the boats rested next to the harbor, and when I pointed out that there was another moon, they were surprised as well.
At least I knew it wasn't just me.
We didn't talk much about it, but not because we did not know each other, purely because there is nothing we were able to say about this matter.
A visceral overstock of lunar feelings, but no way to put the sensation to words.
