Curiosity, Assumptions, and The Search for Identity — Episode 35

Circle of

Friends.

So our Circle of Friends section is going to be a little bit different today.

What we wanted to do was, this is something that...

I don't know, that I hope everybody will gain a little bit of

insight on.

And so before you read the letter, Denise, I just wanted to preface by saying that oftentimes friendships... it's worth remembering that we all enter relationships very differently and we have our own fears.

We bring in our experiences and our assumptions.

And the more we can approach one another with curiosity instead of conclusions, the more room there is for genuine connection to grow.

And So for our listeners, today this letter, I think, is a very unique friendship.

And it's a friendship that I think all of us can learn something extremely valuable.

So

let's

give our listeners this beautiful story.

I know.

I just love this when we got this this week.

And we appreciate y'all writing in.

So we want to hear your stories.

And it's pointofgracestories at gmail.com if you want to share your story of friendship.

Okay.

So this is from Peter.

And he says, I am writing today about my best friend, Sean.

Sean has autism.

And when I tell you he is smart, that is an understatement.

Okay.
