Before we get started, I just wanted to share a little behind the scenes production note.

While we were recording this episode, Jeff and I were having some pretty severe internet problems.

And so a good chunk of this episode was recorded online.

uh in a state where while one of us was talking the other one couldn't necessarily hear what they were saying so if while you're listening it sounds a little bit choppy uh i i think that we've managed to cobble it into some sort of reasonable conversational flow but uh this might be a little shorter than you used to it might not be as in-depth as our usual episodes uh we we did our best here under some trying circumstances so thanks again and i hope you enjoyed the show let's get started
