What is God's Part on YOUR weight loss journey?

So where this came from is this morning, our power went out and I had the amazing opportunity to just sit by candlelight.

Like I was even in a good mood without power, which is like shocking in and of itself.

That speaks to the power of the Holy Spirit transforming us, right? But I was reading John 10 and as soon as I was reading John 10, the Lord showed me that this is all about the shepherd's voice and the sheep recognizing his voice, right? Jesus says the shepherd calls his sheep by name.

He's the one who leads them out and he goes, leads them out and about, right? And he goes ahead of them.

The sheep follow him because they know his voice, but they run from a stranger who Because they don't recognize the stranger's voice.

And this is exactly what I heard the Holy Spirit say.

He said, Sherry, tell them.

They've spent a lot of time listening to the wrong voice.

And they don't even know it.

So this is where I wanna like bring it all full circle for you.

Like what is God's part on your weight loss journey? His part is to lead you, right? Like to lead you with the truth.

His part is to give you the supernatural ability to help you do what you can't do on your own.

He's gonna give you his grace.

He's gonna give you strength.

He's gonna give you the power that you need to not only follow him, but to stop being who you've been, to stop doing what you've been doing.

And your part, I'm not even kidding you, it's this simple.

Your part is to recognize his voice, to trust his voice, and then to obey it.
