How FOOD becomes an instrument of War. Christian Weight Loss

He's prophesying a future vision.

where he's saying that the Lord is going to take the hammer.

He will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.

Nations will no longer fight against other nations, nor will they train for war.

And as I was reading that, I couldn't help but to see what the Lord was saying.

for you even on your weight loss.

Because in this particular passage, God isn't destroying the metal of the instrument.

He repurposes it, right? The swords and the spears, he doesn't say get rid of them, throw them down.

They're transformed.

The material, like the metal, it remains, but the purpose changes.

And this is the this is a different message and I think it's a word for somebody because if you apply this to your life, even in weight loss, you'll start to see that the problem isn't the food.

The problem is, is what food has been almost kind of shown or recruited to do in your life, right? Food, the way that God, you know, this, the way that God gave us food was for nourishment.

It was for strength.

It was, um, It was given for us to be sustained.

We're allowed to enjoy it.

We're allowed to celebrate with it.

We're allowed for it to be the thing that enables us to be hospitable.

But the main thing is we need food to live.

And so many women have unknowingly allowed food like they've enlisted it in a completely different role.

And I want you to see this.

And I promise this is all going to make sense on your weight loss journey, but come back to this scripture.

Like food has taken on a different role.

It's become your comforter.

It's become what you run to to numb out and escape life.

It's become even for some of us a reward or just how to make the day go away.
