being bold without being pushy

And so that's what we're going to talk about today.

We're going to talk about why Jesus is the way of truth in life.

And we're going to talk about why Jesus is the truth.

And I think that the truth is, is like when it comes to sharing our faith, you guys, like if anything, I really hope that this episode actually boosts the evangelist in all of us.

Because the truth is, is I think a lot of times when, when we express our love for Jesus and we tell people about his goodness and we tell people about our experiences with him I think the first kind of natural default...

I think even there, there was a version of me before I really understood.

Like, I didn't understand 'cause I had never encountered him.

I'd never experienced him.

And so I know there was even a version of me that was like, "Okay, that's great.

If that's working for you, like, that's your opinion." You know? Like, I think I understood Jesus was real.

Like, if you guys know anything about my story, like, I grew up in a Christian household, but it wasn't super religious.

I don't think I actually had a full grasp and understanding to who Jesus really was, and the possibilities of what it meant to actually be in relationship with him, and to follow him.

Like, I was not following Jesus.

I believed he was real, but also, I would be so curious to ask that version of Allie if she actually believed that Jesus was the only way to heaven, or the only way to true peace and purpose and fulfillment.

Because I feel like that version of Allie would've been like, "Yeah, I think he's a way.

Like, I, I do believe he exists, but I think that, like, people can find purpose and meaning in other things." And I think that's interesting.

I actually would really like to talk to that version of Allie today, and I think ultimately, as believers, I think it's important to be bold for the gospel, and to tell the truth that Jesus really is the only way.

And we know that because it came out of his own mouth.

He said it himself.

And I know that now for sure, because after trying everything else...

Granted, was I trying all of these other religions? No.

But I was trying everything of the world, though, and nothing was actually fulfilling me.

You know, if somebody really wants to know the truth, they're gonna do the research, and the more that you look into it, the more you realize too that, like, there are so many testimonies and stories.

There's so much proof already in the world, and, and I mean, here, this is enough proof.

But like, there's so many testimonies of people who have completely converted, and it wasn't out of opinion.
