One of the things that really stood out to me from your survey is I can completely relate to this part as well.
You said that solo motherhood has actually been easier than you expected and that you don't feel lonely at all.
I think that's probably the opposite of what most people would assume when they go into making this choice, right? So we tend to hear that quite often is it's, isolating.
It's just very lonely and you feel very disconnected from other people because you don't have that partner there.
Can you talk to me a little bit more about what your experience has been and why you feel that it's not been what the assumption is going into

motherhood?

No, I love it.
You know, I'm an only child.
I grew up with two parents and no siblings.
I had lots and lots of cousins and extended family.
My parents were also much older when they had me.
They were almost 40, which back in 1980 was...
And so I was always raised around older folks.
My parents didn't really adjust their life to have me and to fit me in.
I went to dinner parties with them.
I was just reminiscing with a family friend last week about how I used to, as a little girl, sleep under the dinner table while there were big dinner parties happening.
Um, so I was always around like lots of chosen family.
