So you may be wondering, what is a high rocks and why am I doing it? So a high rocks race is a fitness race that combines running and functional strength training and conditioning.

The stations are going to be varied from sled pushes to sled pulls to burpee broad jumps, rowing machine, farmer's carry, wall ball.

There's a couple of other stations too, but I just wanted you to understand like the layout of this race.

I inspire you to do that because this may be something that you want to compete in.

So if you're worried about something like this, and maybe you're considering the high rocks race as well, I would say pay close attention to if you're signing up for singles, if you're signing up for doubles, and you can have a teammate, a partner, join along with you and make it easier.

Because if you are doing singles, that means you will have to complete all the stations and the runs by yourself.

Now, from my understanding, and I may be wrong on this, I still do need to verify it for 100%.

we will complete all the runs together, which I think averages out to be about five miles over the course of the workout.

So there are certain things I'm strong on that I will be able to maybe do a little bit more certain things he's stronger on that he can do a little bit more.

And then there's just certain things that's equally as challenging and we may have to just break them up equally.

So for those of you that haven't followed along with my journey, I've been in this industry for two decades.

I actually spent over half of my career working with clients in person as a personal trainer and a nutrition coach at the wellness and boutique fitness center that I worked at.
