What did episode one look like? And would that version of you believe you'd hit 300 episodes?

And I would say, yes, I did believe that I would be here today 300 episodes in because I know once I commit, I'm all in my challenge, as you know, Adam is committing and making that commitment and saying, Okay, let's do this.

And I am a talker and I love communicating, but setting up a mic, hitting record, having all of the podcasting equipment running in the background, it really does change things and you start to get in your own head.

we just continue to show up even if even if it's not great we stand back up and we try again and so it ended up being good but behind the scenes i think i recorded episode one maybe 10 times multiple times so but i did it and yeah i knew that once i got started i would be here today

it gets really easy i'm a little nervous today just because you're here but not in a bad way more just like this is a little out of my comfort zone And I know it's out of your comfort zone too.

Um, you know, but yes, it gets really easy just turning the mic on and hitting play and talking.

I can usually now do it in one run and there's no repeats or needing to rerecord anything.

I will say I feel the excitement too and speaking in front of people in high pressure situations isn't foreign to me, but I'm a little bit sweaty right now for whatever reason.

Wow, so the moment in the time period that I really became... doubtful or worried, am I going to be able to keep this up was probably when we moved to Florida.

I've talked about this a lot on my podcast, but very naively I thought, Oh, let's just pack up our family and buy this house and sell our house in Virginia and move to a different state.

And I think, you know, just with life happening behind the scenes, it became really challenging for me to hold to continue to hold space for podcasting when I had a full business to run, team members to manage and support, as well as my whole family life in the background happening and a lot was changing.
