This noticing of some kind of tension leaning forward or pushing back.
And then the possibility of catching how I'm caught in it and don't even know it.
You can just take a breath.
Every exhale has release, letting go.
We talk about these words, relax, letting go, release.
And we try to think our way sometimes into what that means.
How do I do this? What's wrong with me that I can't relax? We're missing that there is a biologic letting go.
every single exhale we take.
It's interesting to begin to simply see how this is the rhythm of all life.
of natural processes.
And even if our thinking mind believes some story of our separation from these natural processes, the body remembers with every exhale.
even with every beat of the heart.
The contraction that pushes the blood through the whole body and the release and the letting go.
Our muscles do a natural contraction with all of our movements and release and let go.
So, of course, it's natural that the mind contracts in this way, in that way.
And that there are these moments where we catch it.
