Not, not something that I would, uh, recommend any, any young parents out there letting their kid be a goalie these days.

My, my first residence was actually, uh, Wolf Island, Ontario, um, which is, uh, one of the l- uh, the largest thousand island, uh, next to Kingston and, uh, spent some time there growing up as a, as a young boy.

And, um, and so, you know, I think one of my good friends at the time, again, like second, third grade, whatever it was, uh, was a goalie and, and he often brought his equipment in and, and had it on.

So that's kinda how I got into it, is, is wanting to mimic one of my buddies at school and, um, and the rest is history.

I think, uh, you know, I gotta credit my, my dad a little bit 'cause I, as young as I was and wanted, wanted to be goalie, the thing that he always, um, he always told me is that I had to really learn how to become a better skater before I could put the pads on full time.

He stuck to his word and, and I, uh, I did what I needed to do in order to get a full, full set out goalie gear, uh, full-time, but, um, great experience.

Loved growing up there in Cornwall and, and later moved to Kingston where, uh, where we still call home, I guess.

And, um, yeah, just, uh, you know, great upbringing around the game and, and, uh, and that grew into a passion that, that still remains bright today.
So were you like a Patrick Roy fan? And I believe you're probably young enough to be there right when the Sens, uh, first started, so maybe you were an Ottawa Sens fan, or maybe you were like a Felix Potvin Toronto fan.
