In 1 Samuel chapter 6, there's an amazing story that I want to draw from today.
They took two milk cows, hitched them to the cart, and shut up the calves at home.
And the cows headed straight for the road to Beth Shemesh and went along the highway, lowing as they went.
And the lords of the Philistines went after them to the border of Beth Shemesh.
So they followed, watching this cart until it passed into the territory of Israel.
And now the people of Beth Shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley.
So they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord.
Lord, we thank you for your word that's living and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword.
Thank you today, God, for anointing your word, your people, and your servants.
